New Year’s Eve is coming up and it’s never too early to start planning the celebration. If you’ll also have your little ones with you on New Year’s Eve, you landed in the perfect place! This year, get your kiddos to help you make these NYE mocktails (or make them yourself and let them enjoy them if you want to avoid a mess)!
Here are some fun mocktails, that could easily be turned into cocktails for the adults, that you can enjoy with your little ones on New Year’s Eve.
1. Gummy Bear Mocktail
This one’s simple. Add gummy bears or sour patch kids to a (plastic) flute and pour sparkling apple juice over it. Get the recipe here.
2. Pop Rocks Mocktail
Dip the plastic champagne flutes in lime juice and then dip the flutes in a dish filled with Pop Rocks! Fill with cranberry juice and club soda. Get the recipe here.
3. Unicorn Cotton Candy Mocktail
Look at how festive this mocktail looks! Fill the bottoms of glasses with cotton candy and fill with berry seltzer. Top with remaining cotton candy. Get the recipe here.
4. Rock Candy Mocktail
This is one of my favorites on the list and super easy. Put a rock candy stick in a plastic champagne flute and fill with Sprite. Look at how the rock candy changes the color of the drink! Get the recipe here.
5. New Year Sunrise
All you need for this festive mocktail is lemonade, grenadine, orange juice, and orange slices! Fill the glass a third of the way with OJ, finish the rest of the glass with lemonade, leaving enough to add a shot of grenadine. Add orange slices on the side! Get the recipe here.
6. One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish Mocktail
Who else is a Swedish Fish lover? Combine blue Kool-Aid and Sprite and top with a few Swedish Fish! Line the rim with sugar if you’re feeling extra festive. Get the recipe here.
7. Pineapple Pomegranate Mocktail
Combine apple juice, pineapple juice, and top with pomegranate seeds! Get the recipe here.
8. Italian Cherry Cream Soda Mocktail
We had to add a couple of creamy options to the list! This one has a few more ingredients than the others. Get the recipe here.
9. Sunrise Surprise Mocktail
Combine pineapple juice with 7-Up and top with sherbert and ice. This is one you can easily make in a punch bowl if you need a larger batch! Get the recipe here.
10. Cranberry Orange Mocktail
Drop a few cranberries into the bottom of a cup. Top with cranberry juice, orange juice, and some simple syrup. Voila! The perfect holiday mocktail. Get the recipe here.
