OUR ETCHING METHOD
At Morning Fog Studios, we etch each glass by hand using the preferred method of sandblasting. We start by designing a custom stencil for your glass. Next we apply the stencil. Etching is done by blasting highly pressurized sand onto the glass, creating a clean and permanent etching. Finally, we hand wash each glass to remove the stencil and debris. Sandblasted designs are typically more deep and crisp than alternative methods such as laser engraving. You will feel the difference in quality, whether it is for personal use or a gift it is sure to be highly valued.
